WITH April showers threatening their planned garden party in Badock Gardens on Tuesday evening, April 17, members of Holsworthy Ladies' Circle retreated to the shelter of the pavilion for refreshments, conversation and entertainment.

The Ladies' Circle is an informal group of some 30 members which has existed for more than 25 years and meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September to April.

A programme of talks, demonstrations and visits to places of interest and an annual dinner in December are arranged.
