TWO new dual dog and litter bins have been installed on the green at Stourscombe after members of the Stourscombe Residents' Association have been working with Cornwall Council following vandalism to the old bin.

Chairman of the SRA Les Whaley said: "Last week, we installed a new dual dog and litter bin on the pathway on our green plus a larger dual bin on the corner path near the bus stop in Tavistock Road on the A388 which we hope all will use to keep the area free of dog waste and litter.

"We are working with Launceston Town Council's dog warden who is very active around Stourscombe, as the requirement today for dog walkers is to carry two bags each time when they walk their dogs. We are looking into supplies of dog bags to give out."
