NORTH Cornwall Hunt’s meet at Blisland on New Year’s Day was very well supported, despite the weather.
Hunt master Ralph Mankee said: “We had set a good trail right out on the moor. The field had a good gallop.
“As we got out on the open moor it got wetter and windier. We actually finished at 1.30pm as the weather wasn’t very nice, but everybody enjoyed themselves.
“It’s nice to keep the tradition going and receive such a great welcome.”
North Cornwall Hunt, whose kennels are based in St Breward, also met at Camelford on Boxing Day.
Mr Mankee added: “Again, Camelford is a very traditional meet and one where we receive great support.”
