AN ARDENT Cornish All Blacks supporter, who has strong links with the Launceston area, is gearing up for a charity trek in Nepal which will coincide with her 40th birthday, writes Suzanne Cleave.

Sarah Cloke, who lives in St Austell, will celebrate her big day on March 22 next year, which is also the UN World Water Day. She has signed up to travel to Nepal with WaterAid on March 20.

She said: "I took part in the Coastalong for WaterAid last year and became aware of the great work they do and this inspired me to do more for them. When I saw the Trek the Himalayas advertised and realised it coincided with my 40th, I decided this was for me."
