CORNWALL Council have a number of temporary prohibition of traffic or motor vehicle orders due to come into effect in the local area.

The council will temporarily prohibit motor vehicles access between Cherry Cross to Wheatley Road in Holsworthy between the junction for the road from Week Green to Highmoor.

The order will come into operation on March 8 and the works are expected to be completed by the March 9. The prohibition will be in force between 9.30am and 3pm on a daily basis, weekdays only.

From March 8 to March 19 Cornwall Council will prohibit the access of traffic over Nanny Moore’s Footbridge in Bude for its entire length. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. This is to facilitate works being executed on or near the road to enable bridge repair works to be undertaken. Cornwall Council also intends to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway at Newport Square, Launceston between Greenaways Garage and the junction for Riverside. Works are being executed on or near the road to install a new pedestrian footbridge.

The order will come into operation on March 12 and the works are expected to be completed by the March 14.
