WHEN?Chris Pringle, the owner of Spencer Thorn Bookshop in Bude was approached by member of staff Sue Hastings to stock a 2008 calendar featuring naked ladies, his immediate reaction was one of shock — until Sue explained. It all started two years ago when five ordinary women formed 'The Full Monty Girls.' Their mission — to raise £17,000 that one of the women, Kara Morris (Sue's daughter) needed to send her severely autistic daughter Rosie to America for some special educational therapy.
