AN evening of entertainment was recently held in Launceston Town Hall, raising money for the national charity, the NSPCC.
The event which took place on September 16, saw a Ceilidh dance take place, with enthusiastic dancing all evening. Additionally, Redwing played some entertaining music for the dance and played their hearts out.
Organiser, Martin Ryan, said: “A big thank you to all those who helped to make Friday night in the town hall a great success, and to mayor Brian Hogan for his support.
“A special thank you to the band, The Countrymen, who supported the evening’s entertainment with some fantastic singing and playing. Of course, we cannot forget the loyal members of the NSPCC who worked hard during the evening, providing food and the bar. Let’s hope next year will be as big a success.”
