A NEW website has been launched by a mum from Launceston to help families in the local area.
North Cornwall Rocks is a new website built specially to help families in the local area find activities, groups, classes, parks, walks and things to do together.
It has been put together by Mary, who wanted to create an online resource for families to easily find local things to do to.
It’s searchable by day, category, age and more and aims to support parents with suggestions, inspiration and the information they need without having to trawl the internet.
Mary said: “As a family we are often looking for new local places to explore, but I struggled to locate the information easily. I couldn’t find a resource where I could look up days out, baby groups, kids classes and activities for children. I’ve created North Cornwall Rocks to bring it all together into one place, for families to find ideas quickly with minimal searching.”
The website is split into categories such as parks and walks, groups and classes and there are area guides, rainy day suggestions, craft activities and online classes listed too.
Mary added: “Building the website has been really enjoyable – I’ve loved finding out about more of the wonderful things that our area has to offer families. I hope it helps to give families some fresh ideas of things they can do as we start to head out of the house more, plus some inspiration of places to visit as things return to normal.”
