A MULTI-MILLION pound development bringing 'substantial investment and jobs' and a new supermarket to Launceston is to go on show in the town next week.

Under the scheme, Morrisons would be added to the town's existing four supermarkets.

The multi-million pound mixed-use development of homes, shops and businesses will be created next to the Link Road, near where Launceston Hospital and Medical Centre are based.

The development is being planned by Development Securities and Wessex Investors (DSW), of Plymouth, in conjunction with supermarket giant Morrisons, whose nearest existing stores are at Bude and Tavistock.
