AN M&S Food store is set to open in Launceston.

It is set to open at Launceston Retail Park at Hurdon — no details of when the store might open have yet been released.

A spokesperson for M&S said: “We are excited to be bringing the very best of M&S Food to Launceston Retail Park. We will update the local community on timings as plans progress.”

Variety retailers B&M will also be moving on to the site. A public exhibition was held at the end of last year at the retail park revealing proposals for the space left vacant after B&Q closed down in October — at the time of the exhibition it was said an unannounced ‘premium food retailer’ would open in Unit 1B.
