NORTH Cornwall MP, Dan Rogerson visited Cornwall's only 'Superhome' recently.
With his family; a number of Cornwall councillors and a few other guests, he visited Paul and Celia Sousek at Cottage Farm, Jacobstow on Saturday, April 2, to receive and insight into the first and so far, the only 'Superhome' in Cornwall. His visit also coincided with the national Climate Week.
A Superhome is a property retrofitted with energy saving measures and renewable energy equipment, which cut its carbon emissions by at least 60 per cent.
Paul said: "Here at Cottage Farm we have cut our carbon emissions by 110 per cent, by reducing our energy consumption and by generating more energy than we need to run our home, to run our farm, to drive and to deliver our farm produce to our customers."
