NORTH Cornwall MP Scott Mann, visited a North Cornwall company on September 29 to hear about its growth and ambitious plans.

Conservative Mr Mann was given a tour of Continental Underfloor in Launceston by the firm’s founder and managing director, Chris Ingram.

The firm, which supplies energy-efficient underfloor heating to the trade, is celebrating its 15th year in business. It recently moved to Pennygillam Industrial Estate to accommodate its expanding team and has remained true to its Cornish roots since its launch in 2000.

Mr Mann was taken on tour of the offices to learn about Continental Underfloor’s sustained growth over the past 15 years and its ambitious development plans for the year ahead, which include expanding its range of products and growing the team to provide greater employment opportunities for the area.

Mr Ingram said: “Over the past 15 years we have gone from strength to strength to become a leading national company within the heating and plumbing sector, and all from our base in Cornwall.

“It was a pleasure to welcome Mr Mann to our premises and to share our success story. It was also great to hear how Mr Mann is supporting the Cornish economy and sensible energy policies as these are topics we are passionate about at Continental Underfloor.”
