OVER the weekend of October 13, eight runners from Bude-Stratton's twin town in Brittany, Ergué Gabéric, visited Bude.

They stayed at the Northshore Backpackers Hotel and on the Saturday, they competed in the National Trust's arduous and very muddy 'Mouth to Mouth' 10K cross-country event on hilly coast and inland footpaths between Northcott Mouth and Duckpool.
