THE Easter Egg Draw, launched by the Holsworthy and District Lions, will be held in the upcoming week.

Thirty-two eggs will be delivered to various pubs, clubs, shops and other locations in Holsworthy, Bude and the surrounding area over the next few days.

The hand-made eggs are just over a foot tall and weigh 1kg each.

Draw tickets are £1 and all proceeds made will be divided between two charities.

Proceeds from the Bude area will be donated to the Friends of Bude Sea Pool Appeal.

Proceeds from the Holsworthy area will be sent to the charity ‘Ovacome’, a UK-wide support network providing information and support for everyone affected by ovarian cancer.

Club President Brian Withal thanked, in advance, all the various pubs and clubs that will be taking an egg this year.
