Bowood Park Golf Club at Camelford was transformed into the Moulin Rouge for a superb fundraising evening on Saturday. David Cann and Mark Deane once again organised a very successful evening, with the entire profit being donated to the Camelford committee of Cancer Research UK. About 200 people attended and were entertained by a display of pole dancing and non-stop disco. Many of those attending had entered into the true spirit of the evening by wearing some stunning outfits, which were much admired by everyone. During the course of the evening an auction was held. Mrs Pam Boundy, chairman of the Camelford Cancer Research UK Committee thanked David and Mark for all their hard work and commitment. David and Mark themselves expressed their thanks to everyone who helped in any way to make the evening so successful and it was hoped that their efforts would result in a profit of £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.
