THE charges for the Westgate car park in Launceston will remain unchanged.

Charges and fees were discussed by Launceston Town Council’s Finance and General Purposes committee at its recent meeting.

Also discussed were the Town Hall charges and the Ambulance Hall charges. It was resolved to keep the Ambulance Hall charges unchanged, as the committee felt that with the hall in its current state it could not increase the charges. However, following the planned refurbishment of the building, charges would be revisited.

It was also resolved to keep the Town Square hire charges unchanged.

The resolutions were to be ratified by the full council at its meeting on Tuesday.
