AFTER seeing the prints believed to be that of a big cat in the 'Post' edition May 30, Julie Pawley of Poundstock has sent in some which look very similar, taken on March 19 at 10.38 am. The prints, approximately three inches across, were spotted in the mud by the stream in the valley opposite Dimma Chapel, south of Poundstock. Julie believes the prints belong to the same 'big cat' as those previously pictured in the 'Post' as the animals can travel up to 60 miles. "It was on private land, which is very rarely used and unlikely to be a big dog. The last time I saw someone walk a dog down there was about two years' ago," she said. Last year, Julie found a dead sheep in a neighbouring field, which appeared to have been killed by something larger than a dog or a fox. Do you have evidence which could support the 'big cat' claims?
