MORE than 500 motorcycles took part in possibly the biggest Cornish egg run held by Moorlanders, over the Easter weekend. Starting at Davidstow Moor, members of Moorlanders Motor Cycle Club made their way across North Cornwall. Residents of Camelford and Delabole ventured out despite the bad weather and lined the streets to cheer the bikers on as they left the airfield on a 60-mile journey, firstly to the north coast, then to Wadebridge and Bodmin through St Neot heading for Bowden Derra Care Home at Polyphant. More than £4,000 was raised for children's charities from the ride, which organisers believe to be possibly the biggest Cornish egg run, held by the group in association with Widows Sons South West. For the full report, and a round-up of the local news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
