TAKING in some of Cornwall and Devon's most famous landmarks, the Moor to Sea Challenge, organised by the Rotary Club of Perranzabuloe is a great team building exercise for charity.

Benefitting disability charity Sightsavers International the challenge covers over 45 miles, including Bodmin Moor and the Camel Trail, and finishing at Lands End on June 27 and 28.

The Rotary Club and Sightsavers are looking for teams of five interested in taking on a fun challenge, using bike and foot, to sign up and get sponsorship. It is hoped that the challenge will raise over £5,000 to support Sightsavers projects in developing countries to prevent and cure blindness and also to support those who are visually impaired through education and training.

The route consists of three parts: The Smuggler's Way — almost 16 miles walk across Bodmin Moor, via the famous Jamaica Inn, to Boscastle; The Camel Trail — 18 miles cycling on routes through the Camel Valley through Wadebridge and Padstow; and the South West Coastal Path — back on foot, the final 13 miles is from Mousehole near Penzance to Lands End.
