DESPITE the cold and rain on Saturday, March 30, a crowd of villagers from St Teath braved the weather to support the village show committee at the community centre.

A great deal of cakes and savoury dishes were donated for stalls and various prizes for the raffle. There was also a competition for a box of chocolates that helped add to the amount raised.

Presidents for this year, Cliff and Gina Swetenham pulled the winning ticket for the bouquet, won by Marion Cooper.

The total amount raised was over £185, which will cover the expenses of putting on this year's village show.
