Thursday was set to be the moment of truth for a Camelford business, as VisitCornwall presents this year's Cornwall Tourism Awards.

Helsbury Park at Camelford is up for either the gold, silver or bronze award in both the Self-Catering Establishment of the Year category and also for the Sustainable Tourism Award.

Primrose Cottage at Launceston is also up for an award in the B&B/Guest Accommodation of the Year category.

No less than 40 establishments, from holiday parks to pubs, are on tenterhooks having reached the final three in their category. Each is now assured at least bronze at the event, which will be held at the Headland Hotel in Newquay.
