A TWENTY six year old man who went missing from his home in Delabole on Saturday, February 21 was located by officers last Thursday evening.

Police in Cornwall had been very concerned for the welfare and safety of Kieran Treffry who went missing in his van on Saturday evening, February 21. The van was later located on Bodmin Moor in the road leading to Blisland.

Officers carried out searches on the ground, which included the use of police dogs, and the police helicopter flew over the wider spaces. Cornwall Search and Rescue also assisted with the searches.

Mr Treffry was located by officers from the Metropolitan Police after he phoned one of his friends from Heathrow Airport last Thursday evening. A police spokesman said Mr Treffry agreed to go to a local hospital "as a place of safety."
