PUPILS from a number of local primary schools celebrated the ‘Tinth Anniversary’ of the Cornish Mining World Heritage site recently.
In July 2006, the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
Pupils from Coads Green, Upton Cross, Pensilva, Delaware and Gunnislake Primary Schools joined together at Sterts Theatre, where they showcased art, drama, dance and music.
The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site Partnership has commissioned a summer-long set of inspirational events and experiences for a Tinth Anniversary programme.
