THE home side took well to their task against the struggling Pelynt Reserves and opened the scoring early on and outplayed the visitors throughout the first half scoring for fun to lead 8-0 at the break.

The second half opened with a momentous goal as striker Mikey Houghton scored his 100th goal for the Petherwin whilst playing for the team since the formation of the club back in 2003 and we hope he goes on scoring like he is to another century.

The visitors did make a chance or two in a spirited second half and scored when the ball fell to Darren Morley which he duly despatched.

North Petherwin's total came courtesy of man of the match Mikey Houghton 5, Callum Reeve, Dan Warring and headers from Chris Rhiorden, an own goal and two from Jo Reeve.
