'MEXICANS' filled the Rydon Inn at Holsworthy to celebrate New Year's Eve.
The party was to welcome the New Year, but also to raise money for 1st Holsworthy Scouts' trip to Japan and other jamborees across the county. Around 120 people attended the event, which raised more than £500.
A buffet was provided, keeping in line with the Mexican theme and music was played by Charlie Lou Parker.
Organisers Richard and Sophie Prouse expressed thanks to everyone who supported the event.
The Scouts also raised a further £200 in the run up to Christmas with sales of quiz sheets, cakes, holly and Japanese items. A snail racing night with Holsworthy Fair entertainment is to be held in the White Hart, Holsworthy, on Saturday, January 18.
