A GROUP of thieves used a small hacksaw blade to cut a hole in a fence at a Cinderford yard and stole several hundred pounds worth of parts from a Mercedes.
The offenders entered the premises in Broadmoor Road at about midnight last Tuesday (May 12), and stole the bonnet, wings, light clusters and radiator from a white Mercedes E-class, which had been written off and was awaiting dismantling for spares.
A small hacksaw blade was found by the hole in the fence.
A police spokesman said: "CCTV footage shows a number of people cutting branches off conifer trees on Steam Mills Road, which runs alongside the yard, then cutting the fence beyond to get into the yard."
Anyone who saw anything suspicious on Steam Mills Road on Tuesday night or who has any information about the burglary is asked to call 101, quoting incident 71 of May 13.
