TROPHIES were awarded to the best bikes at a motorcycle ride in memory of Edwin Hamlyn. More than 30 motorcyclists gathered at Delabole Slate Quarry for the annual ride, which takes place during Delabole Carnival week. The bikes were judged for best British bike and best overall, before travelling through the village heading to Bude for a coffee stop and then via Launceston before finishing at Delabole playing fields. For the full report, and a round up of the latest area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
