Pembroke Castle is staging its first ever 'Meet The Author' evening on Thursday, April 23, when Welsh history writer Terry Breverton will be talking about and taking questions on his significant body of work.
In particular, he will be talking about his latest book Jasper Tudor - Dynasty Maker.
Terry has written over 40 books, with his main focus being upon Welsh history, heritage and culture. His latest publication is an extensive biography of the life of Jasper Tudor. Jasper was Earl of Pembroke, resided here at Pembroke Castle for most of his life and was the linchpin in securing his nephew's Henry VII rise to become King of England.
Terry is also working on a new biography of Pembroke Castle's most famous resident, Henry VII. Terry will be selling signed copies of his books on the night.
The evening will start at 6 pm and there will be a 20-minute interval at approximately 6.40, with the evening concluding at approximately 8 pm. The castle café will be open throughout for refreshments.
