A VERY successful and interesting demonstration of mediumship took place at Bude’s Parkhouse Centre on Saturday, September 14, in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Two local mediums, Eileen Rendle from Stratton and Chris Francis from Tintagel, were joined by Dominic Scotting from CHSW Little Bridge House, for this unusual fundraising event.

Dominic provided a very informative talk about the work of CHSW, whilst Eileen and Chris each provided messages from spirits to their very attentive and generous audience, who between them donated a grand total of £238 to Children’s Hospice South West.

Thanks have been extended to everyone involved in this wonderful evening — Eileen and Chris, their amazing audience, Dominic and the tireless volunteers, and the raffle prize-givers, all of whom made this fundraiser possible, including Carol Francis from Bude Free Spirits and Bude author Johanna Jackson, who was also presented with flowers in thanks for chairing the evening.
