MEMBERS of Bude Rotary Club were joined by the Mayor of Bude-Stratton, Peter Moores recently in planting some crocus bulbs near a path behind the Parkhouse Centre, as part of a national initiative to raise awareness of the work being done to eradicate Polio. Rotary International has been working with the World Health Organisation (WHO) since the mid-eighties to help sufferers of the disease, by collecting to provide vaccines and a deliver them across the world.
