CHANGES have been made to bus timetables in the Bude and Camelford areas — Western Greyhound ceased services on November 2 and routes are being picked up by new companies, following a tender process.

Stagecoach will be running a 216 service between Morwenstow and Bude, replacing the Western Greyhound 530. There will be no direct bus between Morwenstow and Kilkhampton anymore.

On Wednesdays, the 216 will leave the Strand, Bude, at 9.30am to arrive at Morwenstow at 9.52am. Mondays to Satudays, except Wednesday, the 217 leaves the Strand at 1.30pm, to arrive at Morwenstow at 1.52pm.

Travellers from Morwenstow getting to Bude can catch the 216 twice a day, Monday to Saturday, at 10.47am (except Wednesday, but instead at 2.12pm) and at 4.12pm — a drop of one service a day.
