Married at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby, were John Russell Smith, a retired police inspector, and Deborah Julie Wilkins, a retired civil servant.

Given away by her son George, the bride wore an ivory lace dress with diamante detail.

Bridesmaids were Beverley Harris (bride's best friend) and Emilie Wilkins (bride's daughter), while flower girls were Gracie Smith (groom's niece), Amber Davenport (bride's niece), Cherry Moore (bride's niece) and Harley Phillips (bride's granddaughter).

Best man was Joseph Smith (groom's son).

The reception was also held at the Giltar Hotel. The couple honeymooned in Thailand.
