A PRESENTATIONAL has been made to Mrs Marjorie Davey in appreciation for her unstinting and accurate recording of rainfall in Chilsworthy from January 1, 1974 to September 30, 2011, when almost 14,000 observations were carried out during that period. Mrs Davey began recording with her late husband, Bill. Ken Carroll, chairman of Holsworthy Hamlets Parish Council, unveiled a garden bench outside the village hall, in recognition of her work.
