NICKY Rogers, manager of Marhamchurch Pre School, is soon to undertake the challenge of a skydive to raise money for the pre school.

Staff, parents and children alike have all been working hard over the last four years to make huge improvements to the pre school’s outdoor space.

However, there is one last piece of equipment that will finish it off, making the area accessible all year round — a canopy that will be built over the outdoor area.

This will allow the children and staff to use the space all year round, no matter what the weather throws at them.

Nicky said: “I have been working with children for many years, and I am passionate about the job I do. It is very rewarding to watch the children flourish and grow, and become ready for school.

“I am so dedicated to my work that I have agreed to jump out of a plane to raise some much needed funds for Marhamchurch Pre School.”

Nicky is now looking to businesses, organisations and individuals to sponsor her or donate to her skydive, assuring that any donations will be greatly received with huge thanks.

She added: “Am I scared? Absolutely! This is a huge personal challenge for me, as I am scared of heights. I am really hoping we can raise £3,000, and it will be worth the sleepless nights leading up to the jump.

“Please, please help us to help the children have an amazing outdoor area that will give them some fantastic experiences to learn and develop.”
