ADAM Paynter recently presented a cheque for £1,500 to Bob Johns — the money he raised from running in April’s London Marathon.

Adam took part in the event in aid of the Robert Johns Leuk­aemia Fund (RJLF), of which Bob is founder and trustee.

He raised £1,500 through sponsorship and was delighted to officially hand over the money to Bob at Launceston Castle.

Bob expressed his thanks to Adam and also to the many people who sponsored Adam, and those who have supported the fund over the years.
