THE coffin of a man buried on a site that is being redeveloped near Boscastle and Crackington Haven is to remain in its place in keeping with the man's wishes.

It is understood the man, who was unmarried, lived in the bungalow at Newton Farm for 10 years and died in 2009. It was his wish to be buried in the field by the farm located in St Juliot.
