A BUDE man was conditionally discharged for 12 months at Liskeard Magis­trates' Court on April 1 after pleading guilty to assault.

Twenty year old James Robert Watson of Bramble Hill, Bude admitted assaulting Rebecca Watson at Bude on February 12.

Having changed his not guilty plea to guilty, Mr Watson was discharged conditionally for 12 months. No order was made for compensation or costs.
