ON Tuesday, August 14 a 62 year man died after being swept off the rocks by a wave in Tintagel.
The man was on holiday from Shropshire, and had been with a friend angling on the rocks when the wave hit at around 2pm.
The friend had thrown a nearby buoy but the man was unable to reach it.
