OFFICERS from the Holsworthy Neighbourhood Police Team attended an incident at around 12.30pm on June 21, after reports that a man had been found unconscious in the back of a lorry in the Bradford area.
It was suspected that stock had fallen on top of the man and upon police arrival the man was found unconscious.
South West Ambulance and the Devon Air Ambulance were on the scene and all services worked together to aid the unconscious man.
The air ambulance is usually deployed when the first reports of an incident indicate a potentially urgent requirement to get a casualty to a hospital. They were able to get the man safely to hospital.
