KEEN swimmers from Cornwall will be able to register for the 2016 Padstow to Rock Swim, in aid of Marie Curie, online from midday on Tuesday, February 16.
Organised by Peter Tamblin and his swim committee in Padstow, the event has raised over £1/4-million for Marie Curie and has been gaining in popularity every year.
Last year it sold out within two hours of going live.
It is important those wishing to join are prepared at noon on February 16 to avoid disappointment due to limited numbers.
Marie Curie strives to provide care for those with terminal cancer or other illnesses. For them every day of life matters — from the first to the last.
They try to make a difference by working to provide care and support to ensure people get the most out of the time they have left.
Their nurses work day and night, in people’s homes, across the UK to provide hands-on care and vital emotional support.
Over the past 60 years, Marie Curie has supported thousands of people and their families.
To get involved and book a place on this year’s event visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/events from noon on Tuesday, February 16 or for more information please contact the Cornwall fundraising office on 01872 260500.
