HOLLYCOMBE Steam in the Country staged a successful 'magic lantern weekend' over the May Bank Holiday.

Trustee Brian Gooding said: "We had an excellent weekend with lots of visitors who enjoyed the traditional fairground rides as well as the bluebells and picnicking in the woods.

"Star of the show was the magic lantern displays in the Bioscope."
