THE village hall in Bridgerule was the venue for the recent Macmillan Coffee Morning, with about 50 people making it a very jolly and successful event.

Homemade cakes were served, along with teas and coffees, and the well laden cake stall sold out quickly.

Thanks were extended to those who attended, and for the generous supply of raffle prizes and homemade cakes, with thanks also going to the chair and table movers, and the many who were kept busy in the kitchen area.

The popular and amusing raffle, organised by Christine, made £100 and the total profit was in the region of a very pleasing £300.
