FORMER professional tennis player Tim Henman is the latest celebrity to be spotted in the area.

Mr Henman and his family were visiting the Bude area over the Easter weekend. They had lunch at the Bayview Inn, Widemouth, on Thursday where they spent a couple of hours — after being recognised, Mr Henman chatted to customers and signed autographs. Manager Hayley Keene said one of the waiters recognised the sportsman and eventually the whole pub was aware of his presence.

Ms Keene said: "They were a lovely family and I was pleased to meet him and shook his hand."
