AT THE Holsworthy Town Council meeting held on Wednesday, November 4, due to the absence of Sgt Pennie Channing who was attending a careers evening at Holsworthy Community College, the town Clerk gave the Holsworthy police report.

The low number of crimes has continued through September into October and included, three thefts from a vehicle — one spoiler, one tax disc and one number plate — one damage to a motor

vehicle, one common assault, one attempted theft from a vehicle, one stolen vehicle and two criminal damage.

Sgt Channing said that the total number of crimes in the town are down on last year.
