T MAY not have been possible to see across the field due to the mist, fog and drizzle, but Camelford Show, held at Halwill Barton on Wednesday, August 13, was a resounding success.
Car parks were full, the various tents were buzzing and locals and visitors enjoyed everything the 103rd show had to offer.
Many fingers were crossed in the lead up to the show, with organisers hoping there wouldn't be a repeat of last year's event — when they were forced to abandon the event due to the atrocious weather conditions. But they needn't have worried; the day went without a hitch, with many commenting that Camelford Show gets bigger and better every year.
Show President, Gill Stiles, said: "I think generally it went very well considering what we had last year. This time it was a heck of a lot better. There were some lovely things to see."
