A CRASH stopped traffic on the B3314 last Friday morning, between Delabole and Pendoggett, near St Teath.

Police, ambulance and fire crews from Delabole, Wadebridge and Bodmin were in attendance. Mark Saltern, Delabole Community Fire Station manager, spoke to the Post after local crews returned to the station at around 10.30am.

The incident occurred just after 8am on Friday, December 22, involving a lorry and a mini bus, with the lorry colliding into a property on the B3314 between Delabole and Pendoggett.

The driver of the lorry was said to have sustained minor injuries, and was taken to hospital to be checked over. There was a driver and a passenger in the mini bus and two residents in the property, with no further injuries reported.

The incident is thought to have occurred after a meet at a crossroads. A power line was also involved in the incident, and Western Power also attended the scene to make it safe.

There were road closures at St Teath and the Pendoggett junction.
