WITH the kind permission of some landowners, Kilkhampton's Lakeside Loppers were able to give walkers access to some of the beautiful privately owned countryside in the area as part of the group's final fundraiser of the year.

It was a sunny day and the water stops, sunscreen and refreshments were all greatly appreciated by those taking part.

The walkers were served tea and home-made cakes at Langford Farm, where owners Clive and Sandra Fry provided a warm welcome and an opportunity to find out about some of the traditional farming methods used in the everyday running of their business.
