PLANS for the new Holsworthy Outreach Centre of North Devon Hospice were unveiled yesterday (Wednesday) at an open event held at the town's memorial hall.
The Long House, the name of the new centre, is a project that will bring extra hospice support to families in western Devon who are living with the challenges of cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.
At the event in Holsworthy Memorial Hall, the public were able to see plans and designs for a bespoke building that will create a calm and welcoming environment for patients and their families to meet others who understand, share their concerns and find the help they need.
Members of the hospice team who will be delivering this care were on hand to answer questions and explain the detail of what they will be offering and how it can really make a difference.
