A LARGE crowd gathered outside of Launceston's newly refurbished town hall on Tuesday, to welcome HRH The Duchess of Cornwall to the town.

Excitement and anticipation filled the air as members of the public, school children, teachers and representatives of various town organisations came together to get a glimpse of The Duchess.

On her arrival, The Duchess, wearing blue, was greeted by children from St Stephens, St Catherine's, Launceston County Primary and St Joseph's Primary Schools.
