A CHEQUE for £500 was recently presented by staff at Sainsbury’s Bude to The Long House in Holsworthy, to help fund the vital work the outreach centre does.

Thanks were expressed to Justine and her ‘incredible’ team at Sainsbury’s Bude who presented a £500 cheque to support the vital work of The Long House — the North Devon Hospice outreach centre in Holsworthy.

Jess Burford Redgrove, community and events fundraiser for North Devon Hospice, said: “We’re so grateful to Sainsbury’s Bude for their ongoing support and encouragement. It is only thanks to the generosity of local people and companies that we are able to continue to care for local families who are facing living with a life-limiting illness. Thank you Sainsbury’s Bude!”
